Terms of Booking for Wedding Services


BOOKING DEPOSIT: A deposit of $500.00 is required at the time of booking. Dates are reserved only when this deposit is paid by EMT, cheque, or money order. Please make cheques payable to Terry Rice.

TRAVEL FEES: All travel fees must be paid in full, four (4) weeks before the wedding date.

BALANCE PAYMENT: A balance payment will be made four (4) weeks before the date of wedding.

REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION: Deposits are only refunded if I, the photographer am able to book another wedding for the same date and time as the original booking. If a replacement booking is not available after cancellation, the client forfeits the deposit in whole. All cancellations must be be supplied in writing by the booking party from the original booking email address.

PRICE PROTECTION: The Photographer warrants that all prices quoted for wedding packages (excluding enlargements) are guaranteed for a period of eighteen (24) months from the date of booking.

EXCLUSIVITY: Terry Rice photography shall be the sole professional (still) photographer at the venues specified. I do however positively encourage family, friends, and other guests to take photographs throughout the day as long as they don’t interfere with the shooting of the photographer or in cases where studio lighting is being used.

FAILURE TO PERFORM: If the photographer cannot perform this Agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer's illness, then the Photographer shall return the deposit to the client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the Client's order.
